Kevin’s passion is summed up in the words of Isaiah 26:8; “Your name, O Lord, even Your renown is the desire of my soul”.
Pastor Walzak’s desire is that we, as the body of Christ, would strive together to become the kind of church described in the Bible: one with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, authentic friendships, saturated with prayer, expressing compassion and care for those in need.
His goal for the Mountain Lake Christian and Missionary Alliance Church body is for there to be genuine and contagious Christianity, that can influence and encourage the whole community and beyond.
Kevin has been married to Linette for 27 years, and they have six children. Kristen, their youngest daughter, is being baptized by her dad in the picture above.
Associate Pastor - Rev. Dennis Siebert

Pastor Dennis & Tanya have been with Alliance since 1991. But as you can see they aren't always in Mountain Lake. Having raised 4 children they have taken up the new adventure of motorcycling.
Dennis is gives leadership to areas of Pastoral Care and Adult Discipleship at Alliance. One of his personal joys is seeing young believers become connected in the body as they move toward becoming healthy disciples.
Tanya is an important part of Dennis' ministry as they seek to serve as a ministry couple. They often do visitation and counseling together and Tanya also serves on the Women's Ministry Leadership Team.
Dennis and Tanya in addition to having 4 children love spending time with their 5 grandchildren.
Student Ministry Director - Nik Strom
Nik Strom is our Student Ministries Director. Nik's desire is to see God reach students in Mountain Lake so much that they begin to live, breath, and commit their lives to following passionately after Jesus.
Nik has been volunteering in student ministries for nearly 3 years and has been on staff full time since January of 2008.
God's journey for Nik has been an adventure. Nik grew up in a Christain home, graduating from a Christain school; he later attended Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, Minnesota. Having a passion for students and history Nik enrolled at Southwest Minnesota State University. After graduation, he spent one year studying education at Minnesota State University Mankato. For 2 years following that he worked in the construction sales industry.
Nik earned a B.A. in History from Southwest Minnesota State University and is pursueing a degree in Education.
Nik and his wife currently live in Mountain Lake, Minnesota and have one son.
Children's Ministry Director - Colleen Johnson

Colleen Johnson is our Children's Ministry Director. Her passion for children started back when she was 4 years old and her parents started having foster children in their home. She also had a great role model in her grandmother, who taught school for 30 years and Sunday school until she was in her 80's.
Colleen grew up in Mountain Lake on a farm north of town. She has attended this church for as long as she can remember being the first baby dedicated in the current sanctuary. However, she lived in Twin Cities for about 20 years after college and moved back in 2001.
Colleen graduated with a B.S degree in Elementary Education and Bible from Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota. She has taught preschool through high school and most recently taught at Mountain Lake Christian school.
She is married to Doug Johnson and has three children; Jonathan age 22, Joanne age 20, and Jason age 19.
Worship Ministry Director - Ricardo Renteria

“I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips”. Psalms 34:1
Praising God is one of Ricardo’s favorite phrases. His desire is for the church to apply this to their daily lives, even in the smallest details of life.
Ricardo has been involved in Worship Ministry since he was 10. Through the years, God has put in Ricardo’s heart the need for the church to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). Ricardo’s daily prayer is that God can use him as an instrument to take the church to praise and worship God through music.
Ricardo is currently our Minister of Music and now lives in Mountain Lake, with his wife Miriam, and his two daughters, Abi and Christy.
