Welcome to all who are spiritually weary and seek rest, to all who mourn and long for comfort, to all who struggle and desire victory, to all who sin and need a Savior, to all who are strangers and want fellowship, to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness, and to all who will come. This church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Church Staff

Dr. Kevin Walzak

Lead Pastor

Kevin’s passion is summed up in the words of Isaiah 26:8; “Your name, O Lord, even Your renown is the desire of my soul”.

Pastor Walzak’s desire is that we, as the body of Christ, would strive together to become the kind of church described in the Bible: one with relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, authentic friendships, saturated with prayer, expressing compassion and care for those in need.

His goal for the Mountain Lake Christian and Missionary Alliance Church body is for there to be genuine and contagious Christianity, that can influence and encourage the whole community and beyond.

Kevin and Linette have six children, 6 grandchildren and one on the way.

Scott Bartholomew

Associate Pastor

Scott’s desire is to work in cooperation with God’s Spirit to build relational bridges with others. He believes firmly that spiritual growth happens best in a community, which enables others to take the next step in their spiritual journey. This relational dynamic is Christ’s model for making disciples. Scott’s life verse (Gal. 2:20) expresses his passion to see Christ’s life replicated in the lives of others so that Christ will be glorified and a lost World will be positively impacted. Scott oversees adult discipleship, small groups, leadership development and care ministries.

Scott grew up in Eastern Pennsylvania and met his wife Sheena, who is from Nassau, Bahamas, at Toccoa Falls Bible College in Georgia. He received his M Div. degree from Alliance Theological Seminary, in Nyack, NY. Scott and Sheena have served as missionaries to Spain and in pastoral ministry for more than thirty years. They have three daughters, a son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren.
