Our Mission
As a Children's Ministry we want to saturate children in the Word of God and prayer so they will cherish Jesus as the only One who can save and satisfy the heart. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can kindle spiritual desire as the children discover the greatness and worth of God, His incredible love for them, and His work through Christ. We seek to help children learn their identity in Christ and who will seek to carry out God's Kingdom to the world around them.
Nursery (Infant through 24 months)
Ministry to young children is very much a ministry of spreading the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus. Words, prayers, songs, and stories about Jesus fill our nursery. By praying for the babies we seek to fill the very youngest in our care with the fragrance of Jesus.
Our baby nursery is located in our lower level. We offer nursery each Sunday, during both worship services and during the Sunday School hour.
Safety is very important in our nursery. We make every effort to staff our nursery with responsible,loving,informed adults. Please make sure you let the volunteer(s) know if you have any special needs or concerns for your baby.

Nursery Policies and Procedures
Preschool childcare (ages two and three)
We offer preschool childcare during both of our services each Sunday in the lower level room #106. The children will be instructed to go to childcare before the sermon.
Worship KidStyle (Ages 4-1st grade) During second service:
Let kids worship...like kids! That's what Worship KidStyle is all about. Fun music videos with motions lift hearts and hands to God. Cool arts and crafts bring focus on the Creator. Attention-holding, life application videos tell stories kids can relate to! Children will be dismissed before sermon.

Kingdom Kids (Age 2-6th Grade)
"The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these..." Luke 18:16
We offer classes year-round for children starting at 9:30 A. M. We have a bible memory time until 9:40 for grades K-6 and then small group classes until 10:20. Then the children come together for a large group time of singing and sharing until 10:35. We seek to make kingdom connections to help children reach their kingdom potential. Our teachers use the Children Desiring God Curriculum which teaches "the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of the next generation though Jesus Christ" Our teachers love children and the Lord and are dedicated to teaching God's Word. Children and parents are welcome to visit our classrooms any Sunday.
Summer Sunday School
Starting June 3, 2012 there will be special Sunday School classes offered for ages 2-6th Grade. K- 4th Grades will be starting with worship and then traveling in rotations using the PrayKids curriculum (see link below) Summer Sunday School will run through July 15
A Children's club which features solid Bible teaching and verse memorization, games, awards, prizes and lots of FUN!! Children ages kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join the Sparks and Truth & Training groups! Our church partners with Community Bible and Cornerstone Bible to provide a community wide program. AWANA will begin up again starting in September 2011 and meets every Wednesday night from 6:45-8:15 P.M. Awana Truth in Training will meet at the Mountain Lake Christian School and Awana Sparks will meet at Cornerstone Bible Church and will run through March. It will start up again in September of 2012. Vacation Bible School
VBS will be held June 4-8, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. until 8:40 p.m. with Registration starting a 5:45. Our theme this year is Lifeway's Amazing Wonders Aviation. Encountering God's Awesome Power. Based on the verse Psalms 147:5 Kids will visit the Worship Rally Hanger and have Bible study at Victoria Falls as well as visit: Snacks at Paricutin Volcano, Recreation at the Grand Canyon, Crafts at the Great Barrier Reef and the Music at the Matterhorn. A musical version of the week will be held on Sunday June 10, at 10:00 a.m.

Big Sandy Camp
Located just 2-1/2 hours north of Minneapolis on Highway 65, or 80 miles west of Duluth. Their week long summer camps provide a fun, Christ-centered week for youth entering 2nd - 12th grades. They also have 4th of July and Labor Day family camps. Big Sandy offers swimming, canoeing, a giant waterslide, waterskiing, crafts, volleyball, basketball, foosball, ping pong, hay rides, and indoor rock climbing. Camps intertwine fun with the Word of God. Sign up with a friend or make new friends at camp! Registration forms are available under the mailboxes at church or online.
