God has called us to do specific jobs in the Kingdom and He promises in His word that He will go with us and equip us for every good work. As we go (out into our neighborhood), we are spreading His knowledge everywhere like a sweet smelling perfume! 2 Cor. 2:14b-15
Mission Statement
Our mission for Alliance Women's ministries it to create opportunities for all women to connect with God, with His Word, with each other and with the world, for the purpose of bringing glory and honor to God.
Purpose
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Taken from Mark 12:30-31)
Values
Our values are determined by the doctrines and principles found in scripture and they govern all that we do. We seek to minister to the whole person (mind, body, soul and spirit) based upon these values, found in Scripture.
- II Timothy 3:16 - God's Word is our foundation
- Philippians 4:8 - We fill our mind with Godly thoughts
- Romans 12:1 - We offer our whole being to God
- Zechariah 4:6 - We allow the Holy Spirit to guide us
We desire to be led by God's Spirit and continually be in prayer for His leading.
